Job Description

Drive large-scale real estate and urban development projects and shape the future of cities with us. Whether in mixed-use developments, commercial districts, residential communities, or large-scale urban regeneration projects, our projects create sustainable and future-proof environments for people and businesses.

To support the successful delivery of a demanding and complex urban development and infrastructure project, we are looking to appoint an experienced and accomplished Senior Project Manager to join our team in our Dubai office available for an early start.

In this role, you will play a key part in the successful delivery of this landmark project while contributing to the continued growth and long-term success of our project management business across the region.

• Full responsibility for the delivery of a major project or work packages within a large-scale construction/infrastructure development (depending on seniority level)
• Lead interdisciplinary project teams and actively engage clients, partners, and technical disciplines throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage quality, schedule, and budget, while ensuring transparent decision-making and governance processes
• Ensure high-quality project management standards through structured project controls, risk management, and regular project reporting
• Identify client needs, develop additional project opportunities, and support proposals through to contract award
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships while promoting the Drees & Sommer service portfolio within the regional market

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in the project management of large-scale construction, real estate, or urban development projects
• Proven experience in leading projects and providing functional leadership to interdisciplinary project teams
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments, including clients, designers, consultants, and contractors
• Strong expertise in project controls, including risk, quality, schedule, and cost management.
• Excellent English communication skills, with a proven ability to coordinate stakeholders and build relationships in a dynamic project environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic project environment
• Relevant work experience in the UAE is required, with a solid understanding of the local culture, applicable regulations, and government authorities
• Valid UAE driving license is required
