Description
The Orthopedic Surgical Practice of Santa Barbara is seeking a Part-time to Full-time Physician Assistant to join our busy, well-established orthopedic team. The position focuses on outpatient orthopedic care and post operative follow-up management within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. You will work alongside a team of 4 physicians, primarily managing sports injuries, joint replacements and fracture cases with moderate autonomy under physician oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient orthopedic care and post-operative follow-up
- Conduct patient assessments, clinical evaluations and administer joint injections
- Educate patients on diagnoses, procedures and recovery
- Manage medical records and document patient encounters accurately
