Description
Bureau V Architecture is a queer-led studio based in New York City that works primarily in arts and culture. Our projects include theaters, performance spaces, exhibition spaces, installations, cultural institutions, and some mixed-use residential work. We are a small team, which means everyone works close to the design and close to our clients.
We are looking for an architect/designer with 3–5 years of experience to join us full-time. This is a hybrid role based in New York City.
What you'd do:
- Contribute to design across all phases, from concept through construction
- Develop and produce construction documents
- Communicate directly with clients and consultants
- Help coordinate projects and keep them moving
- Research products and materials and support specifications

Requirements
What we're looking for:
- 3–5 years of professional experience in architecture
- Strong design sensibility and clear communication
- Comfort with BIM — we use ArchiCAD and will train you if you're new to it
- 3D modeling in Rhino and/or Blender
- Interest in cultural and performance work
