Uintah Basin Healthcare is located in rural Northeastern Utah. Since our humble beginnings in 1944, we have been razor focused on doing all we can to help our community have access to and to receive the very best healthcare services close to home. At Uintah Basin Healthcare we take this mission seriously. Our mission (caring for our communities through access to compassionate, quality healthcare and investing in those we serve) drives decisions and investments we make in our community and every strategic partnership we establish.

We are the largest independent rural healthcare system in Utah. This growth came from intentional focus to put the patient first and be an integral part of the communities we serve. As a locally owned not for profit organization, all profits are reinvested in our communities to ensure that we continue to expand needed services to truly help our communities have access to the very best healthcare has to offer without having to leave the Basin whenever possible. By focusing on our patients’ needs and providing exceptional service, our growth has continued naturally.
