Company History

Keystone was established in the early 2000s by Greg Richards and his former Harvard Business School professor Marco Iansiti to navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by the internet and digital technology. With roots in Boston and San Francisco, our presence has grown around the world, expanding to New York City in 2010, Seattle in 2015, and London in 2022. Keystone is ready to help clients no matter where they are.

Built on the belief that economists have the ability to transform enterprises with the right tools at their fingertips, Richards and Iansiti designed a future for consulting that went beyond theoretical frameworks and PowerPoint presentations.

Our founders believed that modern consulting should integrate economics, strategy, and technology to drive true digital transformation and business model innovation. That’s what we call our “Triad of Skills."
