Alford Lake Camp is a resident girls camp, located in Hope, Maine. We are celebrating our 103rd summer, making us one of the oldest girls camps in the world. We take a "liberal arts approach" to camping, meaning we have a number of different activities, through which we strive to empower young women with self respect and self confidence, helping to make them better citizens of our world.

Company History

Alford Lake Camp was founded in 1907 by Susan Kingsbury, a professor from Bryn Mawr college. Sue McMullan, the current director, is only the 4th director in the history of ALC.
