About this role:
Our Early Intervention Specialist is part of a team of pediatric specialists that provide family-centered services that support and enable families to meet their child’s individual needs through education, training, and support. This program involves collaborating with a team of specialists who are experts in children’s physical, cognitive, communication, social, emotional, and adaptive development. This program works with children 0-3 years of age.
Full Time, Part Time and FFS available based on location needs.

New Bedford
Plymouth
Cape Cod and Islands
Southbridge
Attleboro
As an Early Intervention Specialist, you'll get to:
Partner with families to identify each child’s strengths and developmental needs
Together develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
Work closely with a transdisciplinary team on program planning and delivery of services
Oversee case management and referral services to assigned caseload
Conduct home visits to provide developmental stimulation, parent training, and support
Facilitate parent/child and/or child groups based on location needs
Complete reports of assessments, progress reports, IFSPs, and discharge summaries
Maintain appropriate communication with physicians, clinics, and community agencies participating in each child’s care
Provide information to parents that enable them to make informed decisions for their child's progress

Requirements
We are looking for EI Specialists who have:
Bachelor's degree, or higher, in one or more of the following fields:
Infants and toddlers (includes Early Intervention and early childhood education), Child development or child studies, Education or special education, Psychology
300+ hours of experience with children under the age of 5 years old
OR
Valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license, LCSW/LICSW, Registered Nurse license, SLP license, or a licensed Mental Health Professional
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
