Advance Speech Plus have joined with Bridging the Gap and we are expanding our established team. We specialise in providing services for adults with communication, swallow and voice disorders. We are a team of seven experienced speech pathologists who provide comprehensive speech pathology services to hospital inpatient, residential aged care, community and clinic based clients. This is a rare opportunity to work with a varied adult caseload and develop skills across a wide range of clinical presentations and work environments within a supportive & experienced team.

Requirements
Qualifications & experience
Eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
Willingness to work alongside and share knowledge with other team members
Strong interest in adult dysphagia, acquired communication disorders and disability
Drivers license & own car essential, access to shared work vehicle
New graduate, early career and experienced clinicians encouraged to apply. Structured support and mentoring available.
Tasks & responsibilities
Assessment & management of adult communication and dysphagia in acute, community & aged care settings
Assessment, prescription & implementation of AAC for adults with acquired disorders or lifelong disability. Opportunity to develop specialised skills in AAC.
Caseload management with support across a range of settings
Daily use of electronic client management system (Splose) to record client progress notes, reports & outcome appointments
Liaison & networking with other Allied Health, Medical Staff & care co-ordinators
Education & training to nursing staff, community groups
Promotion of Speech Pathology profession
