About this Opportunity
Provides technical maintenance service to the City Wastewater Treatment Facility, Lift Pump Stations and Flood Pump Stations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Develops and coordinates service contracts and maintenance contractors
Reviews equipment failures and recommends repair procedures and future preventive actions
Supervises the work of assigned personnel, including assigning and reviewing work, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations
Monitors completion of job assignments to ensure compliance with quality standards and instructions and revises instructions and time frames as necessary
Prepares bids and bid specifications and coordinates contract maintenance activities
Purchases or orders supplies necessary for inventory, shutdowns, and overhauls
Conducts project design and monitors for completeness of specification requirements
Develops standardized equipment, maintenance, inventory, repair, and inspection forms to ensure systematic repair and inspection of equipment and facilities
Coordinates and facilitates maintenance services with WPC staff
Performs related work as required
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
Associate’s degree in environmental sciences, business administration, or a closely related field and 1-3 years of experience in the repair or maintenance of wastewater equipment;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience (i.e., one year of relevant experience may substitute for one year of education)
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population
Required Licenses or Certifications
Valid U.S. Driver’s License
