Job Summary
100% remote position
The Technical Strategistis accountable for the development, implementation and evaluation of services provided by and to the physician networkand groups. Participates in the development and implementation of strategic plans and develops relationships with physicians to foster an economic knowledge of physician practices and the provider network.
The pay range for this position is $40.35/hour (entry level qualifications) - $62.52/hour (highly experienced). The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Conduct a thorough analysis of scheduling workflows/processes and facilitate technical solutions with corresponding build documentation.
- Participates in the re-engineering of operational workflow processes with end-users/business owners and translates into Epic Cadence build.
- Promotes standards for quality application design, build, testing, and other tasks; ensures adequate documentation is provided for support, maintenance, and end-user training.
- Assigned to various projects and demonstrates an ability to complete assigned assignments, proactively connect with manager to prioritize workflow and mitigate risks, track issues, provide solution-oriented escalation, and understand fundamental project management methodologies.
- Develops an integrated network of physicians to give efficient access to quality healthcare.
- Ensures all areas of responsibility are aligned with the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of the organization.
- Serves as a professional for physicians' practices in the areas of revenue cycle, systems and applications.
- Performs contract management duties including testing, negotiation, implementation, performance monitoring and provider relations.
- Attends board meetings and represents the interests of provider network, the organization and other constituencies.
Key Success Factors
- Epic Cadence Certification required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of physician networks and contract management.
- Exceptional social skills to effectively interact with internal and external management and employees.
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience communicating with board members and internal/external leadership.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Proficient in systems used to perform job duties, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel throughout assigned region(s) to attend community events and meetings.
