Job Objective:

Supervise production and QA process. Ensure Acushnet Company policies are understood and followed. Facilitate daily manufacturing and lead continuous improvements. Maintain, revise and define processes to ensure Acushnet Company quality standards are met by internal production.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Supervise personnel ensuring proper procedures are followed and assignments are prioritized. Train, monitor and evaluate individual performance. Administer employment and wage policies, safety, health and attendance standards.

2. Meet Production goals while maintaining labor productivity, quality and lead-times.

3. Troubleshoot production issues such as machine, computer, personnel, product and raw material issues so that down time is minimized, and lead times are maintained. Analyze production limitations, then develop, implement, and evaluate quality assurance processes and other operating procedures. Perform WIP inspections on products being customized in-house. Make acceptance/rejection decisions based on workmanship and adherence to specification using established criteria.

4. Implement programs to resolve any new process or product quality issues and identify modifications needed for products or processes. Identify, investigate, prioritize, and implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects to drive customer satisfaction and business productivity.

5. Design, develop and support quality systems for maintaining the quality of Custom Gear products purchased for resale by Acushnet Co. Work with suppliers and Acushnet personnel to maintain quality standards and systems.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: 3 yrs of supervisory experience is required. Experience in all aspects of custom embroidery operation, set up & implementation, experimentation. * Strong leadership skills required to drive team, process and capability development * Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Project Management and other Process/Control Methodologies preferred. *Excellent Communication Skills with effective Interpersonal and Presentation Skills. *Troubleshooting various computer programs on mechanical, functional & material testing apparatus a plus.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Working proficiency of English which means a good command of the written and spoken language to be able to quickly learn the technical aspects of the job. Bilingual Preferred

Pay Range: $72,057.50-$89,995.00
