Student Success Technology Coordinator
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking experienced and team-oriented candidates for the role of Student Success Technology Coordinator, members of the Student Success Team in the Office of the Provost.
In an effort to scale Pitt's centralized student success platform, called "Pathways", currently EAB's Navigate system, to stakeholders (including undergraduate, graduate, and professional students) across the University, we are seeking coordinators who will work with constituents to solve complex platform/technology problems and business needs, evaluate business processes, and recommend process enhancements. This role will support the implementation of new units; functional and technical support; updating and maintaining system configurations; onboarding new users; and ensuring accuracy of the data. In support of the coordination of Pathways, the candidates will support the work with units to facilitate campus-wide student success initiatives using this and other technologies.
Bachelor's degree required; Two (2) years' experience in higher education required. Previous experience in academic support and student success technology (e.g., EAB/Starfish) and teaching/training others is also a plus.

Essential Functions
• Works with groups to solve moderately complex problems using student success platform/technology. Analyzes complex business needs and evaluates routine business processes to recommend process enhancements. Assists in helping more senior business analysts with more complex projects.
• Analyzes complex business needs and recommends solutions. Records requirements to ensure customer needs are fully understood. Maintains careful documentation and contributes to overall business requirements documentation. Ensures that documentation is available to team members and others throughout the project timeline
• Evaluates routine business processes to identify gaps and inefficiencies and recommends solutions to enhance processes. Seeks clarification to ensure proper understanding of testing specifications and business processes. Participates in meetings with project teams to document changing business requirements and processes and seeks advice and assistance when necessary. Works with a business analyst team to ensure the proper documentation of specifications and business processes.
• Assists more senior business analysts with portions of more complex projects. Receives and acts on instructions given to ensure success in an assigned area. Works collaboratively with colleagues, effectively communicating progress, challenges, and issues that may affect the larger project outcome.
