As an HVAC/R service tech/ installer, you will be installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential or commercial buildings. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and providing quality customer service. Your focus will be on precision and attention to detail. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail in order to fix any issues that may arise. Responsibilities/ Requirements:
- Inspect, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
- Inspect, test and repair mechanical equipment in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (e.g. fans, motors etc.).
- Cut openings for blower openings, duct-work and vents.
- Install fans, grills and registers in the ceiling.
- Test for air flow through ducts and make any necessary adjustments.
- Change filters/discharge air from mechanical equipment.
- Plot layouts of heating system components on drawings.
- Use hand tools (e.g. drills, wrenches, gauges) to install and repair heating elements in mechanical equipment .
- Take measurements of heated or cooled air (temperature/humidity), coolant levels and other measurements related to HVAC/R.
- Must have clean driving record and drivers license.
- Must be drug and alcohol free.
- Must pass background check.
- Must have EPA 608 refrigerant use license.
- Must have a current "S" or "D" class state of CT mechanical license.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $30.00 - $60.00/hr. based on experience and licensure!

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday 9-5
- No nights!
- No weekends!
Experience:
- Ductwork: 4 years (Preferred)
- HVAC/R: 4 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- EPA 608 UNIVERSAL Refrigeration Certification (Required)
- Must have a current "S-2" or "D-2" State of CT HVAC/R Mechanical License.
