Senior Scientist (3-309-1251): The Department of Medicine’s Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time Associate/Full Professor - basic/clinical/translational scientist-investigator with a focus on one or more of the following: lung disease, immunology, environmental and occupational health, thoracic oncology, or vascular biology.
Clinical care responsibilities are not required; however, they can be incorporated for the right candidate, provided the candidate is BE/BC in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, or other related disciplines, and is eligible for an independent Maryland medical license. The expected faculty rank for this position is Associate Professor or higher; however, the final rank, tenure status, and salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. All candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D. (or equivalent) degree.
