Description:
Reporting to the Team Head, you will be responsible for accelerating the acquisition of new non-borrowing corporate / SME accounts to drive CASA, FX, operating flow, insurance and investment in order to align with the commercial Account Acquisition Strategy of the Bank.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct the careful selection of trustworthy referral sources in order to tap the referrals from those selective referral firms on a timely and satisfactory manner with provision of high quality services under the robust new customer screening and acceptance process
- Explore the business opportunities from the existing non-borrowing account in SME and deepen the relationship
- Enforce the stringent KYC process with detailed and careful completion of the CDD/EDD to facilitate the new account opening processes to minimize any compliance issues
- Capture the opportunity of deposit, FX, cash management, insurance and investment from the those non-borrowing relationships
- Work closely and solicit support from all other units of the bank to ensure the best possible cash product offering and delivery which are complying with regulatory requirements
- Participate in various marketing and sales campaigns to optimize customers' usage of Transaction Banking services
- Able to identify business opportunities and assess customers' needs through product innovation or product enhancement
- Assist in customer account opening and related maintenance work
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, e-Commerce or related disciplines
- HKIB Certified Banker would be an advantage
- At least 5 years relevant experience in banking industry with proven track records in cash management/ Transaction Banking development
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
- Customer source in the segments of New Economy / Fund & Asset Management / GBA / Public Enterprises are preferable
- Proficiency of Mandarin to communicate with PRC clients
- Strong business acumen and good knowledge in channel, cash management and branch services
- General understanding of banking operations and bills services
- Self-motivated with good analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet tight schedule
- Experience to deal with the referral sources of Accountancy or Solicit Firm and Knowledge in customer account opening will be a definite advantage
