Description
Primary Function
Funded through the Texoma Community Foundation (TCF), the Regional Program Director for the Durant Satellite Office plays a critical role in directly supporting the grantees of TCF in Marshall and Bryan counties. While employed by OKCNP, this role is dedicated to advancing TCF’s strategic goals by expanding the capacity of funded nonprofit organizations, facilitating collaboration, and enhancing access to mental health-related resources and support. The Director will help catalyze momentum and collective action in Bryan County and expand capacity for mental wellbeing in Marshall County, ensuring all efforts align with the vision and priorities of TCF’s county-specific strategies.
Essential Functions
Training and Professional Development
- Plan and facilitate workshops, seminars, and learning experiences, especially for nonprofits focusing on mental health.
- Deliver in-person, virtual, and hybrid instruction using adult learning principles.
- Support curriculum design and course planning by providing feedback on content relevance and regional trends.
- Evaluate training sessions and incorporate participant feedback for continuous improvement.
Consulting and Capacity Building
- Provide one-on-one or team-based consulting on governance, leadership development, operations, and strategic planning.
- Offer tailored consulting services to nonprofit organizations addressing mental health issues.
- Serve as a nonprofit subject matter expert at community events, summits, and local forums.
- Facilitate strategic planning and board development sessions for area nonprofits.
Policy Advocacy and Awareness
- Support nonprofits in understanding policy landscapes impacting their operations.
- Provide advocacy guidance to enhance community impact around mental health initiatives.
Community Engagement and Relationship Building
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with nonprofit leaders, tribal organizations, and local government partners.
- Promote collaboration across the nonprofit sector to address regional challenges.
- Represent OKCNP in Durant and surrounding areas, expanding the organization's network and partnerships.
Administration and Other Duties
- Work independently and collaboratively with OKCNP’s statewide staff.
- Collaborate with communications, marketing, and administrative teams to promote Durant-based programming.
- Organize and complete multiple projects in a detailed, timely manner.
- Attend OKCNP special events, including ONE and Visions, and other assigned functions.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Recruit and retain volunteers, interns, and partners as needed.
Other Functions
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Programs Officer.
- Engage in professional development activities such as training, conferences, research, and coaching.
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally statewide.
- Submit reports and data for tracking program impact as needed.
Requirements
Education and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- Knowledge of nonprofit management, mental health services, relationship management, and project management strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong team collaboration.
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in nonprofit management, consulting, program delivery, or related fields.
- Experience working in or alongside mental health-focused nonprofits is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in developing and delivering capacity-building initiatives.
- Experience facilitating trainings, strategic planning sessions, or community collaborations.
