Now Hiring: Public Allies Wisconsin – 2025-2026 Cohort
Are you ready to make a lasting impact in your community? Public Allies Wisconsin is seeking emerging leaders from all backgrounds who are committed to driving change and strengthening Wisconsin.
About Public Allies Wisconsin
Our mission is to build a just and equitable society by developing a pipeline of future leaders. Through our 10-month, full-time program (September 2025 – July 2026) or 10-week Summer Corps program (June 23 – August 29, 2025), Allies work directly with local nonprofits, schools, and government agencies, gain hands-on leadership experience, and receive extensive training to prepare for careers in public service, advocacy, and beyond.
Program Benefits & Opportunities
Paid Apprenticeship: Work at a nonprofit, school, or government agency supporting its mission
Leadership Development: Participate in weekly personal and professional growth training
Community Impact: Plan and implement large-scale service projects
Coaching & Mentorship: Receive individualized support to achieve personal and career goals
Living Stipend:
10-month program: $24,000
10-week Summer Corps: $5,750
Additional Benefits:
Free basic medical & dental insurance (for 10-month program participants)
Childcare, transportation, and food share assistance (based on eligibility)
Loan forbearance & assistance with loan interest (if applicable)
Education Award upon program completion

Requirements
Basic eligibility requirements for applicants:
Be at least 17 years old
Have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED/HSED)
Be a U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident
Pass a criminal background check
Please note that participation in the program requires in-person service.
