700Apps is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager with a strong background in .NET development and a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring that technical aspects align with business objectives.
Responsibilities

• Manage Project Lifecycle: Oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management processes and methodologies, particularly in .NET environments.
• Define Scope and Goals: Collaborate with stakeholders and the project team to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, with a focus on .NET technologies.
• Project Planning: Create and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management plans specifically tailored for .NET projects.
• Coordination and Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between developers, business analysts, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring all parties are aligned on project goals.
• Monitor Progress: Track project progress, identify potential issues and risks, and develop mitigation strategies, particularly those related to .NET development.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to ensure that .NET project deliverables meet specified requirements and quality standards.
• Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial status to stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, managing expectations and facilitating effective communication.
• Lead Meetings: Conduct project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status meetings, and post-project reviews.
• Mentorship: Coach and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, especially in .NET-related tasks.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in software development, with a strong focus on .NET technologies.
• Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Methodologies: Familiarity with project management software and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (PMP, Agile, etc.) are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in managing projects with distributed teams is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred.
