Project Manager - Subsea Cable Logistics

Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Project Manager - Subsea Cable Logistics inThis position is available in Hamburg, Germany / Rotterdam, Netherlands, or remotely from anywhere in Europe.

Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and experienced ProjectManager to lead logistics operations, mainly for subsea cable projects.This role requires a hands-on, flexible professional with a strong backgroundin cable handling and a willingness to travel globally. You will also play akey role in supporting the sales team with technical input during the tenderingprocess.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the loading and unloading of subsea cables at ports and vessels
• Manage end-to-end logistics for cable transport, storage, and deployment
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and vessel crews to ensure smooth project execution
• Provide technical input to the sales team during tendering and proposal phases to determine the right logistical approach and feasibility
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure operational readiness and quality control
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and risk assessments
• Support procurement and mobilization of logistics equipment and personnel

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• Proven experience in subsea cable logistics, particularly in loading/unloading operations
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel internationally and work offshore as needed
• Flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with maritime regulations and offshore safety standards is a plus
