Description
Our client, a leading company in the field of engineering and maintenance of large-scale technical plants, is now looking for a project manager (m/f/d) for the Plant Engineering department to strengthen its team in the Recklinghausen district in the north of the Ruhr area.- Professional management of a team of designers and calculation engineers (brownfield planning and piping calculations, etc.)
- Responsibility for cost control, budget, and project management
- Participation in technical developments and coordination with specialist departments
- Development and implementation of technical solutions based on customer specifications
- Change management
- Optional: Participation in the training of young specialists (e.g., technical product designer in the field of mechanical and plant engineering and draftsman in the field of structural engineering)
Requirements
- Completed training as a mechanical engineer or a comparable qualification
- If industrial mechanic or plant mechanic, then approximately 5 years of experience as a construction manager or foreman
- Professional experience in brownfield planning and piping calculation
- Several years of professional experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry
- Experience as a project manager in engineering projects is an advantage
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Professional and confident communication skills with customers
- Good knowledge of German written and spoken
