Description
- Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team PVI in Vehicle Engineering in UDTT
- As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific projects from initiation to completion. You will coordinate with UD internal stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope, timeline, and budget.
- Responsibilities:
- Project Manager
- Develop and deliver project progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Responsible for Project cost, Product cost, Delivery, Quality and feature of the project.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to obtain project status and discuss project priorities.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
- Attend and present project status in forum such Reference group meeting, Project review meeting time to time.
- Support to manage different fora's running in UDTT Vehicle Engineering
- Requirements:
- BSC/MSC or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Professional English knowledge is mandatory. Knowledge of Japanese language is added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience from product development in truck or car industry, especially in engineering area.
- Basic product and market knowledge
- PMP certification from PMI is a merit, but not mandatory
- Experience from and ability to work in a cross functional organization
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with process improvement and project management methodologies.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
