Description
Department: Group Data, Insights & Artificial Intelligence (DIAI)As a Data Quality & Standards Product Manager for the Commercial domain, you will be responsible for guiding the functional alignment, design, delivery, deployment, monitoring and the withdrawal of Data Quality Management products such as, but not limited to, the Data Control Center (aka DCC), fully meeting business needs and requirements, on optimal cost, with maximized return on the investment and ensuring high customer satisfaction. You will own the implementation, publication and the adoption growth of new and existing data standards related to new business processes, data attributes etc.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Quality Management:
• Partnering with the business from idea generation to realization and subsequent exploitation;
• Evolving Product strategy and Digital Platform roadmap to meet changing business needs;
• Having full ownership and accountability for the daily/ongoing performance and reliability of the Data Control Center throughout its "lifecycle" (including aspects such as, but not limited to, design, testing, adjusting to business feedback, maintenance, enhancements, access rights/management, incident management & remediation, etc.);
• Establishing routine, direct communication and cooperation with the BU Data Stewards to ensure the proper functioning of the DCC and to clarify issues related to the applied checks in the DCC;
• Conducting strategic research, and working with key stakeholders across business and IT department (DTPS) to develop & convey product vision;
• Product backlog management (Increments, features and stories) - Translating business requirements and processes into solutions initiatives;
• Products and new features are released to customers and users in collaboration with business capability owners with desired adoption rate;
• Ensuring full product lifecycle perspective and system thinking - Products are supported and enhanced to create a continuous flow of value;
• Working with project teams (incl. vendors) to deliver and sustain the end-to-end product experience.
Data Standards:
• Work with the business stakeholders to monitor the standards publication & adoption level and prepare plans for the compliance growth;
• Support Data Owner in aligning new/update data standards in own area of responsibility with key business stakeholders and as point of contact for clarification of data standards in own area of responsibility (Customer data) ;
• Responsible for The Data and Information Standards Center (The DISC) repository for all CCH standards within own area of responsibility ;
• Update/publish on the DISC approved data standards with novelties coming with projects/demands, group driven decisions ;
• Play a leading role in potential initiatives of DISC enhancement or its replacement by similar platform ;
• Manage access to the Data standards site and ensure that users can clearly see all uploaded information.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
• 5 + years of experience in the master data management space;
• 3 + years implementation expertise in Datamesh, AI-related Skills
• Experience from big implementation projects, involving data models, data harmonization; familiarity with AI-based tools/technologies (including agentic AI) would be an important advantage;
• Ability to gather requirements, plan delivery and assess risks;
• Ability to design & develop Data Quality and Dashboard solutions, Integration experience with other related DQ/DG platforms;
• Should be well-versed with concepts like Data Lineage, Data Quality scoreboards, Relationships, Hierarchy, Data Governance Workflows;
• Good awareness of data extraction, upload and migration tools available on the market, with focus on SAP based solutions;
• Well versed in implementing using cases like ETL, Rules Specification, Exception Handling, Scorecards, Profiling, Setting up Developer, Code Deployments (advantage)
• Good Understanding of Datamesh, LDAP Integration, CloudUser setup etc.
• Good awareness of key SAP MD domains (Customer - must have, Vendor & Material - nice to have), experience with SAP MDG would be advantage;
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority;
• Ability to conduct Client demos on newly developed solutions;
• Project management skills, Agile Product Delivery (SAFE) - considered as advantage;
• Power BI reporting skills (advantage);
• Awareness of financial KPIs, planning and monitoring budget;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
