Nestled in the warm and welcoming town of Alachua, FL, our full-service veterinary hospital is home to three exceptional DVMs and a stellar support team that brings skill, heart, and a whole lot of humor to every shift.

We're currently on the lookout for a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to help anchor our weekend schedule - ideally Saturdays, with opportunities to add Fridays or Sundays if you'd like a little more time in the clinic. Whether you're looking to round out your week with a fulfilling side gig or you're easing back into clinical life, we'd love to hear from you.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, comprehensive care to companion animals - from nose to tail.
  • Perform physical exams and interpret diagnostic tests with precision.
  • Recommend and administer treatments, including surgeries and medications.
  • Guide pet parents through wellness, treatment plans, and end-of-life decisions with empathy and clarity.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate medical records.
  • Uphold veterinary ethics and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and policies.

Requirements/Qualifications

• 🎓 Requirements/Qualifications:
  
  
  • DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited institution.
  • Active and in-good-standing Florida veterinary license.
  • DEA/BNDD eligibility.
  • Strong communication skills - whether it's explaining diagnostics or dishing out dad jokes.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and a genuinely kind approach to patients, clients, and coworkers.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (more with help - no heroics required).
