Description
Professional Project Manager responsible the delivery of project management services and M&E site supervision of a general contractor.
Work area: Frankfurt or Düsseldorf.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.
- Delivering high-quality services and ensuring that project management deliverables meet Customers' requirements and business procedures.
- Administrating contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent or Project Manager.
- Monitoring and controlling the progress of general contractor's work on-site.
- Taking regular site walks to promote and observe safety and progress, report and track any corrective actions through to timely completion.
- Monitoring on- and off-site works, recording and reporting non-conforming work and driving the team for follow-up, preventative and close-out actions.
- Ensuring that MEP installation is fully coordinated and optimised to eliminate wasteful activity on site.
- Preparing and monitoring technical submitting.
- Assisting in the change management process, the review and assessment of proposed variations in the works and of any actual or anticipated delays to the progress of the works.
- Working with the appointed general contractor to ensure that appropriate method statements are in place and signed off by the relevant parties in advance of installation.
- Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance.

Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
- 5-10 years of MEP management experience working on construction projects.
- Experience in Logistics projects is deseable.
- Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems and installations.
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
- Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Eligible to work in Germany.
- Availability to work in Frankfurt or Düsseldorf.
