Title: Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAC, LMAC, LAC)
Join BayMark Health Services and make a difference in the lives of individuals overcoming opioid addiction. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor to provide patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and facilitate individual and group counseling sessions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems and collaborate with medical staff to deliver integrated care.
- Support patients through crisis management, coping strategies, and aftercare planning.
- Ensure timely follow-up and quality care for all assigned patients.
Qualifications:
- Active LMAC, or LAC license required.
- Experience working with substance use disorders strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and counseling skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
