Our Healthcare Laser Technicians love working with HealthTronics because we don't believe in micromanaging our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain laser equipment in surgical and radiology departments.
- Travel to multiple facilities to provide on-site procedural support and ensure safe, efficient equipment setup.
- Accurately document procedure data and assist with billing-related documentation.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate regularly with internal teams, physicians, and hospital personnel to maintain workflow and service quality.
Qualifications:
- Strongly preferred: Experience as a scrub tech, laser technician, or other clinical background in urology or surgical services.
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic technique.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to various clinical settings.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; regional travel and overnight stays may be required.
- Comfortable lifting and mobilizing heavy equipment (up to 300 lbs with assistive devices).
- Minimum two years of college education.
