About the Role
The Project Manager is responsible for handling predesignated projects related to the development of autonomous driving software. The projects span across diverse areas within the autonomous driving industry, requiring expertise in 3D point cloud data, sensor fusion, and vehicle control systems. This includes defining detailed tasks for achieving project goals, managing resources and timelines, executing engineering tasks in collaboration with colleagues and partners, and processing documentation.
The daily tasks include following up on communication channels, keeping management tools up-to-date, interacting with internal and external groups, and performing other related tasks to promote the completion of projects. This role also involves coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth development and integration of software systems, testing, and deployment.
This role requires strong communication skills, particularly in technical reading and writing, as well as an overall understanding of the technical, legal, and administrative aspects of autonomous driving software development. A calm yet active attitude towards achieving project goals is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Understand the mission and goals of projects, interpret and categorize them into tasks in
detail based on technical understanding - Analyze plans and project details for job readiness
- Assign specific tasks to colleagues and partners participating in each project
- Manage overall project progress and available resources
- Identify issues that hinder projects from moving to completion and estimate extra
resources to resolve them - Executing engineering tasks to promote project progress
Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience in Automotive OEM software project management
- System Architect or System Engineering experience in the Automotive industry
- Experience in new business acquisition, and account management (especially in the ADAS or APA/AVP projects)
- Experience in the LV1/LV2 Automotive industry and/or above LV3 Mobility industry, Robo Taxi project, or its system management, AGV projects, and last mile system project management could be a plus
- Native in Korean and fluent in English language skills
- BS in related field
- Valid driver's license
Preferred
- PMP certification or PM professional
