Description
Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Product Manager to support our Tools & Outdoor e-commerce sites. In this role, you will support the Product Management team to help define, build, and launch innovative digital experiences for our customers. You will play a key role in driving the success of our e-commerce platforms.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps for our Tools & Outdoor e-commerce sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including release engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support-to deliver high-quality digital products on time.
- Work closely with business teams and leadership to gather requirements, align on priorities, and communicate product updates.
- Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business impact, customer feedback, and data analysis.
- Support the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation through launch and ongoing optimization.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather customer insights to inform product decisions.
- Analyze product performance metrics and user data to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication across teams.
- Support Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test planning, execution, and issue tracking, to ensure product quality and successful releases.
- Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends, best practices, and platform updates (SFCC, Shopify).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in product management, project management, business analysis, or a related role (internships count!).
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and/or Shopify platforms.
- Solution-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience interacting with business teams and leadership, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Passion for e-commerce, technology, and delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
Preferred:
- Experience working in e-commerce or the digital/technology industry.
- Experience with JIRA for product and project management.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.
- Experience working in a large enterprise or with consumer brands.
