Position Summary Information
| Job Description Summary: | The Information Technology Technician I is a student worker role within the University Technology Services (UTS) Learning Technologies team. This position supports a technical area and provides an opportunity for students to gain experience in IT operations, documentation, and process improvement. Duties and Responsibilities:

| Requirements: | Training for all responsibilities will be provided. Preferred candidates will possess the following skills: • A commitment to excellent customer service • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Comfortable with technology and ability to troubleshoot in Windows, MAC OS, as well as mobile environments • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g. Blackboard or Brightspace) and video conferencing technology (Zoom) • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Dependable once shifts/hours are agreed upon. |
