- Instructor of Finance
Description
One-year, full-time, non-tenure-track instructor of Finance starting August 1, 2025. All areas of interest will be considered. Teaching responsibilities will be at the undergraduate level.
Job Responsibilities: Tennessee Technological University and the College of Business emphasize quality teaching and mentoring. The typical teaching load is 9 hours (3 classes) per semester. Instruction is provided in classroom, online, and hybrid learning environments.
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
The College: Serving 1,400 students, the College of Business offers undergraduate (BSBA and BS in Economics) and graduate (MBA and MAcc) degrees and holds AACSB accreditation in Business and Accounting. Undergraduate majors include Finance, Economics, Management, Marketing, Accounting, and Information Technology. The College also offers a range of innovative minors and certificates at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Requirements
Required Qualifications: MS in Finance or related discipline from an AACSB-accredited college of business. Candidates should demonstrate the potential for excellent teaching.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. or DBA from an accredited institution with a specialization in Finance. Teaching experience, including online/hybrid modalities. Professional experience and/or certifications.
