- HR Services Classified Employee Specialist
Description
The Classified Employee Specialist works independently as well as collaboratively with other Human
Resource Services staff members to support the district’s personnel operations. They are responsible for
the processing of applicants, maintenance of employee records, and determination of employee
compensation. They provide information to a variety of individuals and organizations; they document
information and ensure the efficient processing of district/state/federal required reports; they monitor
assigned programs and they process and ensure that personnel procedures conform to district policies, and
state and federal labor laws. They perform other duties as needed to ensure an efficient and legal
operation. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule in order to meet deadlines.

Requirements
College degree in a job-related field is preferred.
4-5 years of human resource or payroll experience, preferably in an educational setting.
Experience using WSIPC/NWRDC software as it relates to human resource service or fiscal.
Experience as an advanced-level user of MS Office - emphasis on excel.
Experience understanding and administering collective bargaining agreements.
