Software Implementation Manager 

Job Description

Software Implementation Manager on the Client Experience Team will work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful integration of Copper Hill tools and software solutions into operational processes.  They will develop expert knowledge of the software and a strong understanding of the various Operational teams’ processes. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Project manage the integration of new software into the Operations Team processes. This includes identifying and scheduling all tasks necessary for operational roll out of new software, tracking status, holding individuals or teams accountable for meeting project milestones, and driving all parties toward established timelines.  
• Attend all necessary planning meetings, such as PI Planning Meetings.
• Communicate formally and informally to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, Technology, Operations, and Account Management teams.  
• Become an expert on Copper Hill tools and software.
• Train Operations Team on new software.
• Be familiar with current operational processes to spot missing requirements for software in design or development phases.
• Communicate new or missed requirements to the Technology Team.
• Work with Operations teams to define process changes required for new or updated software integration.
• Lead the implementation process, including data migration, system integration, and user training.  
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the implementation phase.  
• Understand software configuration options and implications for functionality.
• Configure the software to meet clients’ needs.
• Identify roadblocks to implementation and determine means of resolution.  These may be technical or behavioral.  
• Monitor Operations teams ongoing use of the new software after implementation and address issues, if found.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiar with multiple areas of international trade compliance.
• At least one year of experience working with FTZ software or operations

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience in software implementation.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies (i.e. Agile).
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in software configuration and troubleshooting.
• Structured Query Language (SQL) skills.
