About the Function:
Our Sales team love building relationships, connecting with customers to sell our much-loved brands in new and vibrant markets where they can thrive. They help sell 6.5 billion litres of our iconic brands across 180 countries every year.

Using consumer insight and digital platforms, we reach new customers, markets and celebrations to help us achieve our growth potential. Dimensions
- Constant multifunctional work with key customers in sales, marketing, supply and finance.
- Key player in compliance and internal financial controls.
- Develop and provide deep commercial insights about our present and future that will reinforce our planning process and will generate investment efficiencies.
- Constant interaction with WHS KAM, Team Leaders, MKT managers, Commercial Finance managers and Supply managers.
Market Complexity
- Competition has a daring strategy based on pricing and margin, which is highly appreciated by our customers.
- As we keep recruiting and growing category penetration, customers will be indispensable partners to assemble growth and new consumers.
- Overall, we see a very competitive market with consolidation of big customers and specialization of others. We know that Customers will have access to better information and will hire new and professional personnel becoming more demanding and competitive; they will look for key partners to joint efforts.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Ability to encourage in others the value of understanding the WHS customer, route to consumer, channel and market trends in order to develop channel and customer strategy.
- Guide in trade strategy and Merchandising Specifications.
- Lead the sales organization on M&E process to ensure efficiencies on investment.
Purpose of Role
- Lead the category growth across all Diageo's portfolio and provide the best customer's propositions in total WHS channel.
- Lead the plans development and drive brilliant execution across customers and channels.
Accountabilities
- Develop category/channel plans to accelerate the WHS Off Trade agenda
- Monitor and track performance and execution to ensure detailed execution
- Lead the M&E agenda
- Beat AOP
Qualifications and Experience Required
- +3 years in commercial, must have experience in WHS customer negotiation.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Business/Engineering
- A self-starter, action focused, with aim to build & hit their own goals
- Comfortable to move between strategy & execution
- Project management skills
- Able to build excellent communications & commercial rational
- Able to interface & influence key senior customers in Finance, Supply MKT & Sales teams
- Information management and skills.
- English and Spanish proficiency
- Operational excellence and attention to detail.
