Job Summary/Description:
We are seeking a highly accomplished, forward-thinking Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join our executive team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in information technology leadership, an exceptional understanding of broadcast media infrastructure, and a proven track record of driving digital transformation. The CIO will be responsible for managing the design, deployment, maintenance, and support of company-wide Information Technology systems, including data networks, computers, servers, software, operating systems, databases, mobile devices, virtualization, software licensing, backups, and vendor-provided platforms.
- Align Information Technology strategy, goals, and objectives with company priorities. Oversee planning, organization, budgeting, and management of various IT disciplines and staff.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with business goals to drive innovation and operational efficiency across all media platforms.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable broadcast networks and IT systems, ensuring seamless content distribution.
- Budget Oversight: Manage the IT budget, ensuring technology investments deliver maximum value and support cost-effective operations.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead a high-performing IT department, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence.
- Deep understanding of complex IT systems, technology infrastructure, cloud and IT business enablement highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of IT contracting, negotiating, organization development / change management, strategic planning, and action planning.
- Vendor Relations: Negotiate and manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and partners to ensure optimal solutions for broadcast needs.
- Crisis Management: Design and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans to minimize disruption from technical incidents.
- Emerging Technology: Stay abreast of industry trends, evaluating new tools and platforms that can elevate broadcast quality and audience engagement.
- Visionary leadership with the ability to anticipate and adapt to rapid changes in technology and audience behavior.
- Strategic thinker, able to balance immediate operational needs with long-term innovation.
- Collaborative spirit, working seamlessly across departments and levels of the organization.
- Decisive, analytical, and resilient under pressure.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Self-motivated and able to make decisions.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 5 years within broadcast media or a similar industry.
- Demonstrable experience with broadcast technology infrastructure, playout automation, and content management systems.
- Very strong conceptual, analytical, judgment and communication abilities.
- Able to think broadly and long-term, recognizing the impact of decisions.
- Strong financial acumen with a history of managing multimillion-dollar IT budgets
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop technical teams.
- Knowledge of emerging trends, such as streaming technologies, cloud migration, data analytics, and audience measurement tools.
