Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement professional to join the Global Procurement team. This role is critical to supporting the capital equipment strategy and will work closely with engineering and operations teams to source and manage procurement of high-value capital assets. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience in capital equipment procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end procurement process for capital equipment, including RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution.
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management teams to define technical specifications and procurement timelines.
Support capital project planning by providing cost estimates, lead time analysis, and supplier capability assessments.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with corporate objectives and deliver cost savings, quality improvements, and risk mitigation.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to inform sourcing decisions and support innovation.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in capital equipment procurement, preferably in a heavy industrial or manufacturing setting.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
