Overview

The Professional Staff at Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club is searching for a year round golf professional to join the team. This individual must be skilled in providing high quality customer service and professionalism.

History of Eagle Creek

It was a great decision by Kermit Quaintance and his Invesco Company to purchase the 300 acres of property bordered by US 41 and CR 951 in 1980. They named the project Shamrock Country Club and began development of the 18-hole championship golf course, with future plans for 740 dwellings.

Two years later, the construction was not fully completed, a Chicago based group consisting of Vincent Salano, Jim Hannigan and several investors, purchased the development. They brought in the Packard Design Group, specifically Larry Packard, to put the finishing touches to bring his expertise to the design of the course. He refined and enhanced the original course design, cutting it through deep pine and cypress forests so that it has the look of being there naturally. The project name then changed to Eagle Creek Golf and Tennis Club.

The first major condominium project slated for completion was called "Arboreque" and consisted of Victorian style architecture. Literature flooded the market, and a great deal of interest was generated in this new project.

In May of 1984, a company called Maxxam purchased the complex, and renamed it Eagle Creek Country Club. They created a new company, Eagle Creek Properties, a name still in place today, to handle the development of the property, and reduced the number of anticipated dwellings to less than 400.

November 1985 saw the opening of the beautifully adorned Clubhouse, and from that point on the project really took off.

In November 1987, a group of Swiss investors purchased Eagle Creek Country Club from Maxxam, and ultimately, on October 1, 1997, the membership bought the facilities from the Developer, and created a private, Member Owned, Equity Club.

Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club, as it is now called, is a small community built in and around a cypress preserve, giving residents a close-up view of nature that cannot be duplicated in any golf course community today. It is a serene, uncrowded, country club community, hidden away between the elegant shops of Naples and the beaches of Marco Island. It is a unique, beautiful place that many of members call "home".

Experience Required

Must be a member or an associate with PGA or LPGA.

Bachelor's or Associates's Degree preferred.

Previous experience as an Assistant at a high-end private club preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

Provide personalized and detail oriented customer service

Assist in execution of daily golf operations

Operate softwares including ForeTees, Golf Genius, and JONAS systems

Assist with the men's and ladies' golf event operations

Assist with member event operations

Daily use of Micosoft Office products (Word, Excel, Publisher)

Assist with club repair

Assist with the golf shop operation including merchandise, displays, and inventory.

Provide quality golf instruction including private lessons and assisting with clinics.

Marking golf course for tournament play.
